These types of camera bags are basically purses, messenger bags, and the like, outfitted with a padded insert inside, which is there to protect your gear. Another option is to create your own by purchasing an insert, which can fit into any bag you like. Inserts are available in many shapes, sizes and colors. Search for them on Etsy, Amazon, Ebay, or many other online retailers.

O, I really need help on what type of camera to buy for interior shots!! I don't want to spend anymore than $200 AUS, and don't want to get another lemon. Can anybody help!!??
ReplyDeleteThat's a tough one. $200 AUS is about $207 US, which only buys you a point-and-shoot style camera. I haven't used a P&S for years, so I'm not up on the current models, but I think the Canon PowerShots (there are many different versions of it) are pretty well-regarded. For interiors, you'll need something with wide angle capabilities in order to capture more of the room in one shot. In a quick internet search, I found several PowerShot models that had "wide angle" listed in the description. Generally, anything that is 35mm or less is considered wide angle, but the smaller the number, the wider the angle of view. The downfall is that the lower the number, there can also be distortion of the image, which can make the room look strange.
DeleteYour best bet would be a DSLR with a wide angle lens, but that is going to cost at least several hundred dollars! If possible, you might want to go into a retailer where you can try out the cameras before you buy them. That way you can test how much you can get in one shot.
